Brian David Henry passed away peacefully on Monday, May 11, 2026, at Elizabeth House in Flat Rock, North Carolina.

Brian was born in Franklin, North Carolina, to Donald Napoleon Henry and Miriam Judith Blaine.

Brian proudly served his country as a Marine in the United States military. He earned a bachelor’s degree with a major in History and a minor in Philosophy. Introverted by nature, Brian was thoughtful, intelligent, and deeply reflective. He spent much of his professional career working in wholesale electrical sales and service.

Above all, Brian valued his family. He was the father of Patrick Dean Henry of Oregon and a devoted stepfather to Amber Staley Jarvis, Summer Staley, and Clay Staley. Brian shared 27 years of marriage with his beloved wife, Ellen Eubank Staley Henry.

Brian is survived by his wife, Ellen Henry; his brothers, Eric W. Henry and wife Faye of North Carolina, and Kurt M. Henry of Pennsylvania, along with his son Gabriel Henry; his son, Patrick Dean Henry of Oregon; his stepchildren, Amber Staley Jarvis of Oregon, Summer Staley of North Carolina, and Clay Staley of New Mexico. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Gabriel Skye Jarvis, Logan Holsenback, Tanner Holsenback of South Carolina, Ethan Staley, and Allelia Staley of New Mexico.

A memorial service is tentatively planned for June 14, 2026, from 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Bullington Gardens.
