Charlotte Veronica Mills

Loving daughter of Gertrude Deloris Mills, joined her heavenly family of May 30, 2025. She was born in Aiken County, South Carolina on March 17, 1957. She passed away while under the care of Hominy Valley Assisted Living and Four Seasons Hospice Care, in the Asheville, North Carolina area. Her sister, Alana MIlls Godwin and her husband, Mike Godwin, were by her side.

Charlotte spent her childhood in Greenwood, South Carolina and some time at Connie Maxwell Children's Home in Greenwood. Her beautiful smile and sense of humor were a treat for all who knew her. She loved music and was a talented artist and poet. Charlotte was a very special “child of God” that God used to be a special blessing to those who knew her.

Charlotte is survived by her sisters, Alana Mills Godwin (Mike), Cindy Hill, and numerous nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her mother, Gertrude Mills, and her brother, Wayne Theron Mills, and her brother-in-law, Larry Hill. A private celebration of life service will be held graveside at Oakbrook Memorial Park in Greenwood, South Carolina on June 12, 2025.
