Chyrel passed away August 12, 2026. She was born August 13, 1957, to Eugene and Audrey Griffith in Canton, Ohio. Chyrel attended Canton South High School where she would meet the man who would become her husband of 48 years. 

Ernest Hough who loved and supported her and will carry her love and companionship forever in his heart. Together they would build a life together having two sons, Ernest II and Timothy and eventually moving to Auburn, Georgia where they would make their home. 

Chyrel and Ernie moved to Leicester, NC in 2022 to enjoy their retirement. She was able to spend time with her sons, grandchildren, and great-grandchild. 

An avid reader and crocheter, she could make magic with yarn or paracord and received joy in sharing her creations with others. She is survived and missed by sons Ernest II (Mistie), Timothy (Ashlee), grandchildren- Jordan, Tristin, Logan Hough, Logan Z, and Charlie, great granddaughter-Winona Hough, and brother Terry Griffith (Debbie).
