It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our dad, Dale Scott Palmer, also known as “Del-Rio Dale,” at the age of 59 on Thursday, February 12, 2026.

Dale was born on July 11, 1966, in Rome, Georgia, the son of the late Julian and Betsy Ruth Palmer.

Dale was a true motorcycle enthusiast. He loved long, scenic rides with family and friends on his Harley-Davidson. He enjoyed listening to ’70s and ’80s rock ’n’ roll on loud sound systems and spending time sitting on the back porch of his cabin by the creek with his family.

He is survived by his two children, his son Logan and his daughter Holly, as well as his grandson, Kason, who will miss him dearly.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
