Jeffrey William Fox passed away peacefully on Friday, May 8, 2026, in Asheville, North Carolina. 

Jeff was loved by his family and friends and deeply loved them in return. 

There was probably no one who met Jeff who didn’t like him, and he was especially admired by children, dogs and cats. 

He was an athlete and math whiz, and enjoyed bike riding, working out, traveling and just hanging out at home with his wife Suzanne. He also loved cereal for dinner (although Suzanne is an excellent cook), frozen blueberries and peanut butter. 

Along with Suzanne, Jeff leaves behind his brother Dave and sister Shelley, his children Sarah and David, and grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. 

He was predeceased by his parents, David and Virginia (Ging) Fox. 

We would be remiss in not mentioning Rufus, his beagle mix, who passed a few years ago. 

We like to think that Jeff is reunited with his mom and dad, and chasing Rufus the escape artist through the green hills of heaven.

The family would like to thank CarePartners Hospice Solace Center in Asheville for their loving care of Jeff in his last days, and asks that in lieu of flowers, The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research.
