John Pischel

John Edward Pischel passed away peacefully on the evening of December 7th, 2018 after a brief illness. It was a peaceful passing of his spirit into the arms of Jesus. He left this earth way too soon but God had a great plan and was glorified by the life John lived. John was a hard worker and a self-starter. A business owner most of his life, he was a great provider for his wife, family and anyone he noticed was in need. John had a generous heart. From feeding the homeless or adopting a family at Christmas time to helping an  employee purchase a car, he was always eager to quietly  and humbly do good for others. He had a “can do” attitude and was an eternal optimist. He had a vision for the impossible and often made it a reality. John loved Jesus with all his heart and never feared death, saying “I know where I’m going”. He had a strong love and loyalty for his family and friends and will be greatly missed until that glorious day when he is reunited with loved ones once again.

John  is survived by his wife Cindy, children Evan Pischel,Sierra Pischel (grandchildren Justin and Lakely), Evan Bryant, Emily Haupt and many friends and loved ones.  There will be a celebration of John’s life on January 5th, 2019 at 4pm at the Foster Church, 375 Hendersonville Rd. Asheville, NC 28803
