Larry William White of Franklin, NC passed away after an ongoing battle with brain cancer on Friday, May 22, 2026 at his home in Franklin, North Carolina in the presence of the family he loved. 

Originally from Memphis, Mr. White retired from the furniture rental business in 2010 before moving to Franklin. He loved the beauty of nature, especially in the fall, which is why he chose the area. Larry White was happiest when watching football and being left alone. He could always manage to make anyone laugh, and maintained a positive outlook all the way up to the end. 

Larry leaves behind his wife, Peggy, with whom he shared fifty-six years of marriage and sixty one years of love; a daughter, Kelly White Roberts of Franklin, NC; son, Jeff B. White of New York, NY; sister Jeanette Comella, niece Karen Comella-Harrell, three grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. 

He was preceded in death by his parents Silas and Mary Alice White and his older brother Robert Lynn White.
