Laura Lee Schock

Laura Lee Schock, 57 of Candler, NC passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, November 16, 2025, at Mission Hospital in Asheville, NC.

Laura was born on May 6th, 1968, to Linda “Lyn” (Schock) Soper and Joseph Schock, Sr. She grew up in Beverly, Massachusetts until she reached the age of 16, when she moved to Ohio to live with her father.

Laura was a kindhearted woman, a loving mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother; as well as a force to be reckon with! She was a shining light in the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her passing has left a void in the hearts of family, friends and anyone whose lives were touched by her.

Laura is survived by her daughters, Holly, Heather, Ashley, Brittney and Cassandra (and their spouses); her parents; her sister, Amy; her 19 grandchildren, and a great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Joseph Schock, Jr., and her two grandchildren, Lily and Nevaeh.

We will always look for signs from you and will never stop loving and remembering the life you shared with us…lucky us!

A memorial service will be held at a future date.
