Pamela M.
Avillion
Oct 5, 1950 — Sep 30, 2026
Marshall, NC
Pamela M. Avillion, affectionately known as "Pammy" to her family and “Pam” to others, passed away at home on Wednesday.
Born and raised in Hazleton, Pennsylvania, Pam was the youngest of fourteen children born to Anthony and Irene Avillion. She graduated from Hazleton High School in 1969 and remained proud of her hometown roots throughout her life.
In her younger years, Pam shared her musical talent as a professional singer. Blessed with a beautiful voice and a passion for music, she spent time traveling and performing as a lead singer in multiple bands. Although music brought her many adventures she eventually returned home to be closer to her daughter and loved ones.
Pam was an avid reader in her spare time. She loved to be by any body of water and enjoyed swimming.
A devoted animal lover, she volunteered at animal shelters and supported organizations dedicated to the humane treatment and welfare of animals. She also had a special love for elephants and held a deep appreciation for all living creatures. Her faithful dog, Remy, was a cherished companion.
After spending most of her early life in the Pocono area, Pamela moved to Bucks County PA in 1985, where she lived for many years before relocating to North Carolina in 2023.
Pam is survived by her beloved daughter, Tammy Lall, and son-in-law, Roger Lall; her grandchildren, Skylar and Brandon Lall; her sisters, Shirley Elder and Sandra Baker; her brother, John Wayne Avillion; and many cherished nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Anthony and Irene Avillion, and her siblings Rosemary, Bernice, Carol, Patsy, Janice, Anthony "Buddy," Renee, Marilyn, Diane, and Mary.
Pam will be remembered for her independent spirit, love of music, and unwavering compassion for animals. Her feisty soul and her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew her best.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Humane Society, a cause that was especially meaningful to Pamela.
Private services will be held at the family's request.
