Perry Wayne Clement

Perry Clement, 65, of Canton passed away Sunday, May 26th, 2024, after a long battle of health issues. He was born in Asheville NC on June 5th, 1958, to the late Mitchel and Julia Mae Clement. 

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son Christopher (Chad) Clement, brothers, Alvin Clement, Larry Clement, Harold Clement, and Albert Clement. Sisters, Linda (Mona) Bishop and Roselyn Stauffer. 

He was a huge football fan of the Carolina Panthers and basketball team Carolina Tarheels. Perry was a man who worked hard and would give anyone the shirt off his back just to make sure they had a place to stay and food on the table. He loved vacations and especially spending time at the beach with his family. Perry, was the life of the party, loving to host family gatherings. He will truly be missed. 

Perry is survived by his loving wife of many years Kimberly Hawkins Clement; daughters Stacy Clement, Bree (Brooke) Roberts, and Ashley Swain. Sister Mary Hughes; four beloved grandchildren, Alex Houston, Kailee Salvatto, Isabelle Salvatto, and Makenzy Clement. Also has his lifelong friend Johnny Conard.
