ROBERT CLARK RUPERT

    Known to many as "MR. BOB", Robert Clark Rupert joined the heavenly choir on Friday, December 8, 2023. He was born on January 8, 1947, in Dekalb Illinois to the late Bill and Judy Rupert. 

    While he was a man of big stature, his heart was so much bigger, always giving back to the church, community, and so much for the family.    

    Along with his parents, he was also preceded in death by brother, sister-in-law, Billy and Ellen Rupert, brother-in-law, and sister Gus and Linda Gage, his wife's loving parents, Carl and Ilene meyerholz, and two great-granddaughters, Brooklyn and Moira.    

    Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 57 years, Joyce. Two great grandsons, Daymien and Anthony, all three of the home. Brothers Russell (Lois), Abe (Loretta), and tommy. Sisters Melissa (Dave), and Karen. Daughter Tami(James) Shehan, and son Robert(Sue) Rupert. Grandchildren Crystal, Candace, Robbie, Tonya, Stephanie, Nikki, Jeremy, Debbie, and Shakira. Great Grandchildren, Nevaeh, Hailey, Aubrey, Kelsey, Cash, Chance, Chevelle, Becky, Serenity, Jude, Axel, Jaiden, Joey, Jordon, Heaven, Anthony, Nicholas, and Bean. Two special Great-nieces, Tasha and Shannon, who would travel to visit "OPA" often. 

    There will be a celebration of life, Saturday, January 20, 2024, at 11:00 AM, at Starnes Cove Baptist Church. The reverend William Moore, along with Charlie Sams will officiate.       The family will receive friends following the service in the fellowship hall at the church, so that all of "MR.BOBS" family and friends can share stories and memories amongst each other. Refreshments will be served.

    A second celebration of life will be at a later date in Illinois for family and friends from Mr. Bob's early years of life.
