Vickie Joe Crook

Vickie Joe Crook, 62, of Asheville passed away on June 13, 2024, at Memorial Mission Hospital. He was born in Waco, Texas to the late James Henry and Elnora Bernice Crook.

In addition to his parents, he was proceeded in death by his brothers, Charles Dykes and Willie Jean Dykes; sisters Rosalind Moore and Sandra Crook.

Vickie Joe loved having fun with his family and friends. He enjoyed working outside doing lawn service and landscaping.

He is survived by his brothers, James Ray Crook, Eddie James Ellis; sisters Carolyn Jordan and Cynthia Crook. 

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 6th at 12:00 p.m. at New French Broad Church, 12 floral Drive, Pisgah Forest, NC 28768.

The care of Mr. Crook has been entrusted in A Simple Cremation.
