Jeffery Deitz

Jeff Deitz, 52, of Candler, NC passed away October 29, 2020 after long illness. He was born in Sylva, NC to the late Arquilla Wood Lance and W. H. Deitz. Jeff was an avid fisherman. He worked for many years at Thermo Fisher and Asheville Technologies. He is survived by a daughter, Zavannah A. Deitz of Candler, NC; two sisters, Vickie D. Stanford of Candler, NC and Tammy D. Rea and her husband, Rick of Canton, NC; and one brother, W. Keith Deitz and his wife, Lora. He was loved my many nieces and nephews whom he left behind as well.

A joint memorial service will be held for Jeff and his mother, Arquilla W. Lance at Good News Baptist Church from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on April 16th, 2021. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to Saint Jude's Children Hospital at 501 Saint Jude Place,  Memphis, TN 38105.
