Marty Metzinger

Marty Lee Metzinger, age 58, passed away at Mission Hospital in Asheville, NC, with his wife Diane by his side on Tuesday, March 5, 2019. He was born on July 19,1960 in California to Arvol (AJ) and Audrey Metzinger. He graduated high school in Azusa,California. Marty loved making people laugh and helping people. He loved his family and friends. On April 25, 2015 him and Diane were married. He and his wife Diane, of almost 4 years celebrated those years together with love and laughter, and devoted much of their time to being with family and friends. Marty had 4 step-children, Alicia and husband, Clyde Greene, Christopher Wishon, Jamie Wishon, and Dustin Sisk. He also had 3 step-grandchildren, Jaylen, Laylee and Gracie. He also has one sister Julie Warner of California, 3 brothers; Mark and wife Connie Metzinger of Nevada, Mitch and wife Katherine Metzinger of California, and Matt and wife Kristen Metzinger of California. He had many nieces and nephews who loved him dearly. He also had a little dog (Jack) that was his best friend at home who never left his side. A memorial service will be held to celebrate his life on March 19, 2019 at Hardin Road Park, 389 Hardin Road Forest City, NC from 11am until 7pm
