Maurice Thompson

Maurice Dale Thompson, 62, of Haywood County passed away Saturday May 21st, 2022, at Memorial Mission Hospital in Asheville North Carolina. Maurice was born August 31st, 1959, in Baton Rouge Louisiana to Maurice Theodore Thompson and Faye Dunn Thompson.

He is survived by his son, Trey Thompson and his wife, Morgan Thompson. A granddaughter whom he held close to his heart, Lorelei. He was also survived by 2 sisters, Brenda Faye Thompson and Cynthia Darlene Thompson.

Maurice enjoyed cooking, listening to classic rock music and had a very special place in his heart for animals. He loved his family very much his son daughter-in-law and granddaughter was everything to him.
